Who handles your data

CB5 Capital AB operates Stocknet and is responsible for the account and usage information described here. Contact us using the details below for privacy enquiries.

Information we process

We store your account name, email address and a password hash; authentication sessions; API-key names, prefixes and hashes; API request and deterministic conversion logs; usage counts; historical research receipts; and Stripe customer, subscription and billing-status identifiers. Requests can include company/document identifiers, filters and literal keyword queries. Do not submit sensitive personal information in API queries.

Stripe hosts payment collection and billing management. Payment-card details entered in Stripe are handled by Stripe rather than our application. Stocknet may display invoice information and a card brand and last four digits returned by Stripe.

Why we use it

We use account and request information to provide the service, authenticate users, reproduce document conversions and investigate requests, enforce limits, handle billing and support, prevent misuse and investigate errors. Contract performance supports account and service processing. Security and service improvement rely on legitimate interests where applicable. Accounting and other required records are kept to meet legal obligations.

Service providers

Hosting and infrastructure providers process service data. Stripe processes payment and billing information under its applicable terms and privacy notice. The current public Data API uses deterministic processing rather than external AI inference. Prior research requests may have been processed by the research providers active at that time. Providers may process information outside Sweden or the European Economic Area; applicable data-protection safeguards are required for such transfers. We do not sell account information.

Storage, cookies and security

Stocknet uses an essential session cookie to keep you signed in. The application may store preferences in browser storage. API keys and passwords are stored as hashes; new API keys are displayed once. We retain account, usage and historical research records as needed to provide and secure the service and resolve issues. Billing records may need to be retained after an account is closed to satisfy accounting obligations.

Your rights

Where applicable, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us to exercise these rights or close an account; we may need to confirm your identity. Some records must be retained for legal reasons. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
